Procedures / Formats

Club Membership
Membership is open to all subscribers to the iRacing service at the discretion of the club. Prospective members should apply via the website.

Membership Code of Conduct
Members are expected to uphold the values of the club, these being respect for the club and its members while maintaining the attitude that we are friends and colleagues above all else. Heated rivalries will not be permitted to exist inside the club.

On Track Code of Conduct
Contact between competing cars is discouraged and should be avoided.

Deliberate contact (including bump drafting) is prohibited.

In the interest of maintaining clean and fair competition, any competitor vehicle with “overlap” on another competitor vehicle is entitled to a car width of space. It is prohibited for any competitor to force another off track via car contact or simply denying them racing room. If such an infraction is committed accidentally the offending driver is expected to redress the position.

Black flags will NOT be cleared by race control. All members are expected to follow directions provided by iRacing.

Penalties
All car contact incidents will be reviewed by the Admins each race. Penalties should be rare but will consist of Warnings, EOLs, Race suspensions, etc.

Admins reserve the right to penalize and/or remove from the league any racer, for any reason, at any time.

Race Formats
Specific formats will be advised prior to the relevant series or event, however as a norm, races will be run with fixed setups using realistic dynamic weather for the time of year. This may include rain.

Driver Classes
Upon joining the club each driver will be assigned to either the Elite (IR2000+) or Sportsman (IR1999-) class. Each class will compete on track together during events and winners of each will be recognized. Points will generally be awarded based on outright position, so Elite and Sportsman drivers are expected to race one another.

Should a driver in the Sportsman class demonstrate sufficient speed to be competitive in the Elite class, the club may elect to re-categorize the driver. Elite drivers should not be re-categorized to the Sportsman class except in extraordinary circumstances.

Vehicles
While the club may elect to permit entry of any vehicle it so chooses, the basis of the club events is sports cars. With the focus on utilizing free iRacing content, commonly used cars consist of:
Mazda Mx-5
Toyota GR86
BMW M2 CSR
Other cars may be added as deemed necessary.
